Lisa Semler, RDH
Lisa was born and raised in Gillette, WY and graduated from Campbell County High School. She attended Black Hills State University and graduated from Sheridan College. Lisa is married to Jim and they have 3 children and 1 spoiled dog.
Lisa enjoys time with family, camping, travel, riding the Harley with her husband, being outdoors, and new adventures.
Lisa is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and Wyoming Dental Hygienists Association. She attended the Pankey Institute for Periodontal Therapy and numerous continuing education courses for dental hygiene. She has been a dental hygienist with the Dental Care Center for over 20 years.
Susan Locken
Sue was born in Lemmon, South Dakota and was raised on a farm in Meadow, South Dakota. She graduated high school in 1975 in Isabel, S.D. Sue is married and has two beautiful children. Throughout the years she has worked at various jobs including daycare, maid service, donut fryer, and manager at a bakery for 19 years after which she decided it was time for a change. She became a dental assistant and subsequently completed a course to receive her diploma for dental assisting in May of 2009.
Shantel Fleak
Shantel was born and raised in Gillette, Wyoming and graduated from Campbell County High School. She realized she wanted to be a dental assistant after graduation and took a dental assisting course to learn more about being a dental assistant. After joining Dental Care Center, she knew that it was the right career choice because she enjoys meeting all the different patients and likes the challenges that come with being a dental assistant. Shantel is an active person who snowboards in the winter every chance she gets and camps in the summer every weekend she can. She likes to stay fit and in shape, so she tries to work out every day.
Crystal Hershey
RDH, BS
Crystal was born and raised in Newcastle, WY and graduated from Newcastle High School. She attended Gillette College where she completed her pre-requisites and attained her Associates degree. She furthered her education at Sheridan College where she graduated with her Associates in Dental Hygiene and has since furthered her degree by graduating from the University of Wyoming with her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. Crystal moved back to Gillette to be with family, her boyfriend, two dogs, and three horses. She enjoys a variety of activities such as rodeo, skiing, watching her brother race as well as her boyfriend, numerous outdoor activities, and playing patty-cake with her niece. Crystal is dedicated to the field of dentistry and providing the best patient care and service. She continues her education each year by attending the Rocky Mountain Dental Convention and continues to read articles on new and up to date information. She is qualified to treat patients of all ages and performs all dental hygiene duties with quality and care.
Lawanda Wagoner
Lawanda was born in Columbus, Louisiana and moved to Sheridan, Wyoming in 1984 where she graduated from high school. She moved to Gillette in 1992 and has been active in several local organizations while raising her two children. Lawanda has worked in the dental field for 16 years working as a dental lab assistant for 10 years and moving on to dental office administration where she has been employed for 6 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, being outdoors, and traveling.
